How do i apply to a studio at the beginning of a semester?

If you study in the first four semesters of bachelor, you will have to choose between two offered studios.
1st year: Prof. Fioretti and Prof. Pasel
2nd year: Prof. Frank and Prof. Hofmann

For 5th semester bachelor (project 1.1.5 ) and all master studios please follow these instructions:

    1. On information day all studios are presented. This happens one week before the semester starts on october 15, normally in the big lecture hall A151. „Open Studios“, that will be announced on that day, take place.

    2. Each „Open Studio“ will hand out a „Task 0“ (Aufgabe 0) for interested students as an initial application for the studio. The task will relate to the studio’s subject.

    3. This „Task 0“ has to be completed, turned in and probably presented in the following week. Handing in „Task 0“ is the precondition for participation in the respective studio! The chairs will decide who can participate in their studio and they will inform you if your application was successful or not.

    4. All students that don’t get a placement in their favoured studio will be placed by the student’s dean and us, the student’s advisors. Anyone not getting a placement in a studio should come to us in Room A003 and give us their details, status and studio priorities so we can handle your placement.
